Short Bio:
Lídia Farré joined the Institut d'Anàlisi Econòmica as a JAE-Doc researcher in September 2009. She received her PhD from the European University Institute in 2006. After graduating from the EUI, she was assistant professor of economics at the University of Alicante, 2006-2009. Her main research interests are in Labor Economics and Applied Microeconometrics. She works on the implications of cultural transmission for the persistence of inequality across generations. She is also interested in the effects of immigration in receiving countries and issues related to gender and race discrimination in the labor market.
