Short Bio:
Ada Ferrer-i-Carbonell works at the Institute for Economic Analysis (IAE-CSIC) as a tenured scientist since 2009. From 2007 to 2009 she worked at the same institute with an ICREA fellowship. In the past, Ada has held various positions at the University of Amsterdam, including a VENI fellowship from the Dutch National Science Foundation. Ada´s current interests are on welfare (through subjective well-being measures) analysis, health, income, and risk attitudes. In 2002 and 2003 Ada received her two PhD's in economics, one at the Tinbergen Institute (University of Amsterdam) and another one at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (Troy, NY). She is a Research Fellow of the Institute for Study of Labor (IZA).
