Short Bio:
Ferran Sancho is Professor of Economics at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona since 1992. He has also been a visiting scholar at UC Berkeley and the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis. For a while he devoted his time to administration and he was Vice-chancellor for Research and Faculty at the UAB, and contrary to what many may think it was not a bad experience at all. Back into mainstream academia, Ferran's research interests focus in computational economics with applications to fiscal policy and environmental economics. Ferran is a MOVE research fellow since its creation in 2009.
