Short Bio:
Núria Rodríguez-Planas is an assistant professor at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona since Fall 2004. In 1999 she got her PhD from the Department of Economics at Boston University. Before joining the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, Núria worked as a research fellow at the Brookings Institution, as an economist at the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, and as a researcher at Mathematica Policy Research in Washington D.C. Her research focuses on labor economics and policy evaluation, covering topics such as employer asymmetric learning, labor market policy evaluation, social exclusion, immigration, and gender issues. She is a Research Fellow with Institute for Study of Labor (IZA) since 2004, a Research Affiliate at Fundación de Estudios de Economía Aplicada (FEDEA) since 2007, and a member of INSIDE-Spain since 2008. Núria is a MOVE Research Fellow since the creation of the institute in 2009.
