Short Bio:

David Pérez-Castrillo is professor at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona since 1991, year in which he received his PhD from Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Science Sociales (Paris). His main research interests are Game Theory, R&D and Contract Theory. He is a Fellow at CESifo, Asociación Española de Economía, and Barcelona GSE. David Pérez-Castrillo received the Distintio de la Generalitat de Catalunya for Young Researcher in 2001, the Arrow Prize in Theoretical Economics in 2006, and ICREA Academia Award in 2008. He is Associate Editor of SERIEs, the Journal of the Spanish Economic Association. He has been visiting professor at University of California San Diego, University of Copenhagen, Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, Universidade de Padova and Canterbury University. He is a MOVE Research Fellow since the creation of the institute in 2009.
