Short Bio:
Caterina Calsamiglia is an assistant professor at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona since Fall 2005. In 2005 she got her PhD from the Department of Economics at Yale University. Her research focuses on Public, Welfare economics and Distributive Justice, covering issues such as the equality of opportunity for policy design, the effect of different forms of affirmative action in competitive environments or school choice. Caterina Calsamiglia is a MOVE Research Fellow since the creation of the institute in 2009.
