We bring together a group of young researchers who are currently working on the most recent theoretical and empirical advances on venture capital. We will discuss issues such as the optimal venture capital contracts, optimal exit, networks of venture capitalists, different types of venture capital funds, and optimal financial instruments for venture capital contracts.

The workshop is also designed to stimulate the interaction between academics, politicians and entrepreneurs. To that end, in addition to the presentation of original academic works by a selected group of junior and senior professors, the workshop includes and a non-technical round table.
