MOVE Distinguished Visitor Lecture

Presentation

One of MOVE’s aims is to increase the public's awareness of research in economics.  With this objective in mind, we are organizing the first of a series of annual lectures, with some of the most influential economists in the world as invited speakers. We are proud to announce that this year's lecture will be given by Nobel Laureate in Economics James J. Heckman.  In addition to his contribution to a scientific basis for economic policy evaluation, Professor Heckman is well-known for the development of theoretical and empirical models of human development and lifecycle skill formation, with a special emphasis on the economics of early childhood education.

First Lecture: March 24, 2011

Venue: Casa Convalesència
