MOVE (Markets, Organizations and Votes in Economics) invites applications for a research position in Family Economics starting Fall 2011.
MOVE is a research institute in the field of Economics, based at the Bellaterra campus of Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB). MOVE is a consortium created by the Generalitat de Catalunya and the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB).
Research positions at MOVE have no teaching obligations but MOVE researchers are involved with graduate and undergraduate teaching at UAB.The position is for 4 years and after 4 years it can be combined with a tenure track or tenured position at the Department of Economics and Economics History at UAB. The initial 4 years will be partly funded by European Research Council (ERC) Starting Grant n. 263600.
All candidates with research interest in family economics (broadly defined, covering areas such as fertility, formation and dissolution of families, female labor force participation and investment in children) are encouraged to apply.
