The ICREA-Academia awards ceremony took place on February 18th, in the Palau de la Generalitat, Barcelona.
Professors Juan Carlos Conesa, Jordi Massó and David Pérez-Castrillo, the leaders of the three research areas of MOVE, have been awarded the ICREA-Academia recognition prize. ICREA, the Catalan institution devoted to recruiting top scientists abroad for the Catalan R&D system, has introduced the ICREA Academia prizes to support researchers already working in Catalonia. This is the case of our three area leaders, who will recieve 250,000€ over five years to support their research. Forty scientists received the recognition prize in its first edition, only seven in the Social Sciences, it is an honor for MOVE to host three of them as a recognition of the high level of our research.
